The room was fine but as we went on the hottest day of the year it was like an oven. We were provided with a large fan though. Other than that it was a lovely building and the staff were great.

Lucknam is simply the best hotel that I have stayed in, in the UK

The hotel staff are very friendly and helpful, the bedrooms are very spacious and the beds are very comfortable, the breakfast is a good choice of English & continental, self-service, the hotel is close to the local amenities, shops, theatres, it a short walk down to the waterside area,it a good 30 minutes walk from the train station.

Property delivers beautiful views, but the good was average and below expectations, the fans provided in the bedrooms were inadequate and I barely slept a wink, disturbed further by an early morning brewery delivery below my bedroom window. I won’t be staying again :-(

If peace, tranquility and idyllic views in the English countryside are what you’re after, this is the perfect stay for you. My wife and I stayed in ‘The Tup’ for her birthday and it was exactly what we needed. The Tup was immaculate, modern and perfectly sized for a short break. It had the amenities we required, and the fresh produce supplied was a perfect touch. Helen (the Host) is extremely friendly and the instructions upon check in were clear and helpful. I’d strongly recommend a stay here, we have nothing but praise for Helen and her beautiful farm. Thank you for a wonderful weekend!
