Doors and walls need cleaning. Other than that, it was wonderful!

I booked a room with a large jacuzzi tub as shown in the pictures did not get it we ended up with a regular size tub yes it had jets but not what we wanted. Second the parking was awful the individuals next door to us took over every parking spot out front of our building which made it so that we had to carry two sleeping toddlers across the parking lot because 1 apartment took up the whole parking in front of our building. Also we got a room on the second floor which we were perfectly fine with not our first time as we come down here every year but to their sister resorts. With out even being asked we were switched to another room because it was down stairs. If asked we would have chosen to stay in the upstairs room in the back side. Not very happy with our stay and will be rethinking about staying here ever again.

We had a two-night stay booked. When we walked through the front doors and saw no flooring, a black plastic sheet hanging and construction noise we were in disbelief that the hotel was being renovated. We had no advance warning. Our room was not ready but the front desk clerk finally found us a suite - she asked if we wanted a suite - we said yes we do - we had paid for it in advance. When we got to the room there were ants on the counter under the TV, the A/C-Heating unit in the bedroom was making a loud noise and the front cover was falling off and the entrance light wouldn't turn off. The maintenance man came immediately and was a gem - working overtime to check our unit. The room was clean but beyond needing an upgrade. The refrigerator was sitting out on the floor because it didn't fit under the counter. The breakfast room which was being renovated was moved to a small space and had a nice breakfast but it was crowded. We had thought we would rest the next day in our room before driving again but couldn't because of the construction noise below us. The staff were gracious and helpful and we felt sorry for them. How many people arrived and were taken back at the major renovation being done? Only one elevator worked which gave you an uneasy feeling that the hotel wasn't safe. Our floor had wiring hanging from the ceiling and dry wall on the carpeting. They should have closed the hotel until the renovation was finished. We will never stay at a Wyndham Property again.

This place exceeded my expectations. I loved the feeling that let you escape a “hotel.” And the property was so peaceful and easy to access. I will be staying again!
