Village Hotel Portsmouth
Requested a high floor but was told it was not possible. Didn’t even check to see if there was any available it was a flat no and not very courteous which is a shame because when I stayed in January you were very welcoming and accommodating. Hence the 3 stars

Holiday Inn Express Portsmouth - North by IHG
Room & cleanliness was great. Really difficult to retain a good temperature in room. It was freezing. Breakfast was awful. Disorganised, chaotic, only one hot drinks machine was working. Not a great selection. Will be staying at Premier Inn going forward.

The room we paid for was next to the lifts. I asked for a new room and they found us a new room on a higher floor which was nice. Lovely little pool and the breakfast (and dinner) was fab.
