Not really enough space to put suitcases and washing stuff. No plug by a mirror for a hairdryer.I do appreciate it is not a hotel where one would stay for a week. But space was at a minimum. Bed clean & comfy , staff polite & accommodating.

Great area, Tesco and Subway/Kfc, Costa, McDonald's 5 minutes away. Shops within walking distance. Appreciated the microwave at reception. Staff always happy to help. Will be back for my third stay.

The rooms were clean, amenities were good, the breakfast was awesome. However the staff that checked us in (short blond hair, heavy eye makeup) being in the front of the house was quite snotty and unfriendly. The rest of the staff were friendly and helpful.

Arrived on Thursday 14/8/25 To find parking very limited get to reception get given our room Rooms I know it’s budget but having a shower cubicle in your actual bedroom is a joke Anyway arrive into our room look around notice window lock the safety bit is broken go to open the window to find the whole thing actually broken fire hazard right there so we complain ask to be changed rooms visit another room where the air conditioning unit decided to leak water everywhere flash and blow all the electrics in the room So again fire hazard and safety Now this is 3rd room Got given a double basic room with a bunk single bed right on top of the double bed Still had issues air con leaking The bed was like sleeping in a park bench The tv had a qr scan code so could connect the phones to tv This is just for show doesn’t work Dirt wasn’t the best at this point had enough Breakfast I wouldn’t bother not worth the time. Again very limited considering a Continental breakfast Overall terrible stay not recommended really not happy worst hotel have ever stay in

Fratton Park budget stay

As it says on tge label, it's a bydget Hotel. Rooms are small but comfy, staff, busy but friendly. Th3 breakdast us inclyded abd is also continental style, but sufficient. There is Kentucky opposite, and Tescovextra, Ludl and Aldi. But tgere us also a wearherspoons 15 minutes walk away. The oppisite way East, is the Pompey fans pub, the Shepherds Crook. Great pub wuth excelkent pub grub. Very friendly staff. Highly recomnend.

The room was cold on the first night of a two night stay, and the in-room guest controllable room thermostat didn't allow the temperature to be turned up, which made sleeping difficult and an uncomfortable night

When it says budget that is what you get. It was convenient and the staff were lovely. The room was basic and clean. Whilst a kettle is offered, a tea bag, cup, saucer, spoon, and a drop of milk are not, so budget means byo. If you're prepared for that, then all well and good. I was disturbed by load voices and someone banging on my door, but that's really down to the bad behaviour of some folk, not the management. Next time, I would ask for a room at the end of the corridor which might be an idea.
