Mechanicsville Vacation Packages

I have stayed here before and it was good. This time, we had an issue with the blinds/curtains. They are on a motor and we, and the maintenance staff, could not get the blinds down. Our room faced the parking garage so the lights were brightly shining through the window. That made for a sleepless night. The maintenance guy reset the power and still couldnt get it to work. This was around 1 am and we just wanted to sleep. The Sheraton could do better.

Great location, all rooms were redone and excellent amenities.

It’s very nice place and close to everything

Loved it! Didn’t like the view from the room I had. Lots of unhoused folks and nothing to hide so I couldn’t open my window which I hated.

I appreciate the staff working with me! They went above and beyond to make sure, we got all that was needed.

Great stay. My only complaint is the $60 plus tax a night for parking. It did seem a little expensive.

Room, although small, was very nice. Appeared to be a balcony w/no access. Shower was different but great water pressure. Nice river view. Great whiskey bar. Not thrilled w/our meal @ Kingbird. Will likely return in summer to utilize Top of the Gate.
