Room wasn't vacuumed

We needed to stay near the ferry for an early morning departure and stayed here. The cabins are very nice and comfortable. The rooms were very clean and met out basic needs for our overnight stay. The owner was very nice and helpful. I would suggest bringing whatever food you will need because shopping options are limited.

The location of this property was excellent, right in the centre of Rundle Mall. The property itself is tired and in need of a refurbishment. The rooms were sort of clean, with the bathroom and toilet needing a good scrub. HOWEVER, on check in, a $50 a night security deposit 'for incidentals' was taken, even though there was no mini bar in the room. I checked out over a week ago, and this deposit has still not been refunded! Also on check out they said it would not be refunded until house keeping confirmed there had been no damage to the room. This was not explained at check in. I was staying in the hotel with my 90 y.o. mother who even straightened the bed before we checked out. There was no damage to the room. I have stayed in hotels all around the world, this is the first time a hotel has said they would check for damages before refunding a deposit. Totally unimpressed. I have called the hotel, they are 'looking into it'. No apology for the delay in refunding my $150.

Super convenient. The hotel provides you with milk as you finish it. There is coffee/ tea available and a laundry in the bathroom which makes long stays so convenient. The staff are super helpful and friendly
