The room was clean. However, overall the hotel is in some state of renovation or updating. It needs it. The breakfast area was closed, no service. Offering coffee 24/7 was not an impressive substitute for the lack of breakfast.

Everything you could get expect.

Staff was exceptionally efficient and gracious, especially Kevin who somehow remembered our names every day. Beautiful rooms, most excellent snacks. We were only 2 days away from the dining room re-opening after renovation, so we will have to come back!! Thank you!

Really great so this is just for discussion purposes. I will stay here again! Clean Room? YES Helpful Staff? YES Easy Parking? YES Quick access to Wayne State and/or Downtown Detroit? YES Air Conditioning on a 80+ degree day? NO :-( (but fixed quickly and may have been my fault!) Snacks available for purchase when I arrived at midnight? NO :( Not in my building, only chips at check in Water Cooler and Coffee? YES/NO (available on 1st floor but a third floor water cooler would've been really nice, but see ac issue dramatically impacting my desire for water) Pet Friendly? YES - great area for walking my dog around the neighborhood too.
