I was pleasantly surprised. The rooms are dated but pristine. The manager and her husband are the kindest people. If you have any little problem, they're there in 5 minutes. I'd never heard of Affordable Suites before, but now that I've stayed I'll use this company in other cities as well. You will have to use stairs, exterior entrance, empty your own trash and get the iron and board from the laundry room. Just bring your own like in the old days. If they had all of that, then the price would go up. So give and take. They even have free house shoes in the rooms.

Having a 9.0 guest rating and a 1pm check-in is what drew me to booking this property but to my surprise neither was true. After booking a got my email which said 3pm check-in, next day I get email from property saying the close at noon on Saturday that my key card would be in the mailbox. Closed on Sunday. So no front desk my full stay. Never had that before. The room .. Walking in i noticed to strong scented smell, noticed there was a scented air purifier. Kinda messed with my nose lol. The chairs at the table were super dusty. You could not walk on the vinyl floors barefoot as my feet turned black as the floor was not clean. Vent in the bathroom was hanging from the ceiling also. This room was def not what I booked. Checked out after 1 night of my 2 night stay. Since they were closed during my stay, left checkout now in the same mailbox as they left my key. 4 days later and haven't received any sort of follow-up. Will not book here again
