"Great resort if you stay in the tower"
Great resort if you stay in the tower. At first we were placed in a cottage room and it was extremely dated, and dirty. Away from the beach. Then we upgraded to the hotel tower and all rooms are extremely nice. We were even put in a suite at the top which was incredible. It looks like some of the cottageswere better than the one we stayed in and had been renovated. Cottages would be good for vacations with children - just getnone closer to the beach as they looked nicer. Otherwise, staff pool and food was great! Loved it.

"Wide open resort!"
We had a great time at Honua Kai, We've stayed in other hotels in Kaanapali and it always felt too busy & cramped. So we did a little research on Honua Kai which is just a few blocks north & its like day & night. Its so much more quiet & relaxing here like what we needed this time for a "real"vacation. Although I think May is just the calming before the summer storm & just lucked out. The resort has 2 buildings, 3 pools. All the rooms are suites with a full size kitchen, dining area and the patio also has a big table for outside dining.( Not to many dining options in the resort) There's a little plaza just a up the street with a supermarket which saved us a ton. Rent a car, parking/valet is easy & they don't allow any airport shuttles services in and out the resort which is awesome!! We had an amazing & relaxing time. We'll be back!!

"Quiet and Beautiful Beach Resort"
We enjoyed our stay at Napili Kia. It has a close grocery store, great snorkel beach itself and an awesome one next door. I got to swim with the sea turtles, see many fish, a moray eel, and an octopus. It was really nice having the kitchen for a quick breakfast and for keeping drinks cold.

"Wonderful spacious Condos with breath taking views"
We recently spent a week at Lahaina Shores and could not have been more pleased with our Condo. We had looked at hotels in the Ka'anapali area but they seemed so crowded and ultra modern. Lahaina Shores is so peaceful and beautiful and really has an old plantation kind of feel.. The staff are top notch and made us feel very welcome. If you go, spend the extra for the ocean view! It is amazing to watch the cruise ships come in and out and snorkling the reef right at the hotel is awesome. We saw many different kinds of fish and loved the warm ocean. The pool and Jacuzzi were the popular spot at all times of the day but still didn't feel crowded. We highly recommend Lahaina Shores Resort!

"Napili Sunset is the best condominium in Lahaina."
All the personnel working at Napili Sunset were great including the General Manager, Frederick Hidalgo. This crew appeared to be the happiest, kindest, and most efficient group of people I have ever experienced in the resort industry. They all showed the true Hawaiian Spirit of Aloha.

"We enjoyed the location of the property. "
We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Could use some music of some sort in the pool area. The Red phone was not working when we tried to check in. The fan in the bedroom was broke and stuck on low speed so was extremely hot. We heard different stories about being able to use the facilities across the street as were told by some people it was ok and others it was not. Need to have better office hours.

Lanai City is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Lanai City, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Lanai City hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
