The bed mattresses were in terrible condition, and after just two nights, I experienced back pain. When we first entered the room, the sheets were dirty. We requested new ones, but the first five sets they brought were also in poor condition. unfortunately, the first two days of our honeymoon were ruined. We couldn’t stay any longer in that place since their policy have to stay 2 days in .

This property only has one restaurant which could be a downside. There is some food across the street you could walk to, otherwise, you will need to shop for food to cook in your unit. The food at the restaurant was amazing there. The units are a bit older and could use some updating, especially the shower, however it was comfortable and the view from our room was incredible. Having a washer/dryer was the key for us. They started replacing the carpeting throughout the hallways to the units but we were never displaced or interrupted. I would definitely stay here again.

I loved the location of this property because it sits right on the beach. It has an old school, Polynesian vibe, which we loved. The place seemed to be older but clean. Definitely probably needs some upgrades in the rooms. But what I liked least about the whole experience was being told that someone was going to come and fix the TV and never showed up. I contacted the front desk twice and even walked down to talk to the front desk each time they assured me someone would be up shortly. I don’t think they ever had any intention of fixing the TV. We were lied to and dismissed.

Great stay at Ka`anapali Shores

Even the sofa bed was comfortable! Kitchen was well-equipped for our group, which was good since hotel shop was closed when we got settled in. Food truck fest right nearby looked great and there were several restaurants and grocery store right across the street.
