"Please don't go here so we can have it all."
Great place but small pools and hot tub. Very nice staff. Be aware there's no resort fee but they charge $15 a day to park your car and parking sucks. Or pay $20 a day for valet.

Make sure you note that hotel pass code contains an asteric* at the end. Gotta punch that in or you'll be stranded outside at midnight. Ask the woman janitor next door at the Grill. She's seen it all. Very nice room, staff. Good wifi, cute room but disco rage bar on Saturday night ( on north side) is loud if you've got parking lot view. Sheryl -desk clerk -is very good to talk to. Nice old wood feel to place

"Wonderful spacious Condos with breath taking views"
We recently spent a week at Lahaina Shores and could not have been more pleased with our Condo. We had looked at hotels in the Ka'anapali area but they seemed so crowded and ultra modern. Lahaina Shores is so peaceful and beautiful and really has an old plantation kind of feel.. The staff are top notch and made us feel very welcome. If you go, spend the extra for the ocean view! It is amazing to watch the cruise ships come in and out and snorkling the reef right at the hotel is awesome. We saw many different kinds of fish and loved the warm ocean. The pool and Jacuzzi were the popular spot at all times of the day but still didn't feel crowded. We highly recommend Lahaina Shores Resort!

"Older hotel, but well maintained"
6th time staying here. Though it's a older hotel, it has decent rooms, with an excellent courtyard and pool. Steps from the beach. Close to Black Rock. Best bang for the buck compared to anywhere else on Kaanapali Beach.

"We enjoyed the location of the property. "
We enjoyed the hot tub and pool. Could use some music of some sort in the pool area. The Red phone was not working when we tried to check in. The fan in the bedroom was broke and stuck on low speed so was extremely hot. We heard different stories about being able to use the facilities across the street as were told by some people it was ok and others it was not. Need to have better office hours.

"Napili Sunset is the best condominium in Lahaina."
All the personnel working at Napili Sunset were great including the General Manager, Frederick Hidalgo. This crew appeared to be the happiest, kindest, and most efficient group of people I have ever experienced in the resort industry. They all showed the true Hawaiian Spirit of Aloha.

Best Western Pioneer Inn

658 Wharf Street, Lahaina - Map
"Perfect location for Lahaina Harbor activities"
We stayed at the Best Western Pioneer Inn for twelve days. It is an historic landmark, built in the early 1900's, and is located in downtown Lahaina, Maui, Hawaii. The hotel staff was excellent, especially Amanda, who helped us get back in our room after we accidentally locked ourselves out on our porch, which overlooks Banyan Tree Park and Lahaina Harbor. The rooms are rather small, but very functional and comfortable, and the large covered porch with a table and two rocking chairs expanded the living area considerably. A mini-fridge and free WiFi are available in all rooms. Since it was within easy walking distance of anything we needed - grocery stores, restaurants and fast food places, and lots of stores - we didn't even bother to rent a car. Instead we took the Robert's Hawaii airport shuttle for a very reasonable price. We were able to walk around, exploring downtown Lahaina and various historic sights, such as the magnificent Banyan tree, which was right across the street from the hotel and celebrated its 144th birthday while we were there. Our main goal was to be near the dive boats and excursion boats, which were located across the street in Lahaina Harbor. With its convenient location and great hotel staff, we would definitely stay here again

Lahaina is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Lahaina, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Lahaina hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
