Their attentive service and cheerful demeanor ensured that we felt valued and appreciated throughout our visit. The property itself exudes charm, with cozy interiors and beautiful views of the Norwegian landscape. The attention to detail in both service and amenities, from delicious meals made with local ingredients to inviting lounge areas, enhances the overall experience. In essence, our time at Hotel Union Oye was nothing short of magical. With hearts full of cherished memories, we left eager to return. Our stay was AMAZING! The location was the perfect setting on a quiet lake with all the amenities you can ask for. The host was wonderful and very accommodating. We stayed in the 3bedroom cottage with 2 full bathrooms, a wonderful terrace, great kitchen and dining layout for a family of 5. We used their kayaks and rowboat and grill outside. There is a sauna right inside to get warmed up before jumping in the very cold but refreshing lake. Short walk to a waterfall and hiking. Short drive into larger towns for other food options. Wonderful farm store up the road for local food and a great bakery nearby. Absolutely breathtaking views. Incredible stay all around.

An incredible setting, beautifully prepared food, friendly helpful staff and excellent rooms with comfortable beds. We had a very relaxing time.

Very friendly host and had a very cheery room with a great sea view and porch. Very quiet. Great breakfast, excellent coffee! Right next to the ferry which was very convenient.
