Paid $600 for a two night stay. Layout of the rooms is extremely confusing and honestly a little scary if there was a fire. Upon entering our room, found garbage had not been emptied after prior guest. Daughter got stuck in bathroom first night- doorknob lock defective. Came back from being out first day and they had deactivated our keys. AC units in hallways were extremely noisy. Hallways are dark and dreary. Entire property needs updating. Positive note was breakfast was decent and front desk staff were friendly and helpful.

I would not recommend using Expedia to anyone. I had a family emergency and have used Expedia in the past with no cancellations and due to the horrible customer service and greed of best Western in Kingston NY they are trying to denied my refund. I would not recommend anyone using Expedia or staying at the best western ny. Just pay the extra money and stay at at another hotel. Expedia has minimal to no say and the insurance you pay for is bush league

Nothing worked. I was moved to four different rooms due to broken acs and then broken tv. One ice machine in the whole hotel worked and it had mold growing on it. The room keys would stop working every day and you would have to go to the front desk to get it reset I was told because their system is out of date. The manager was totally unapologetic and rude. The pool was dirty, everything was dirty. And the WiFi was unreliable and slow.

I don’t know where to start on dislikes - defective card key and door readers, smelly rooms, lazy staff, it’s just not worth it! We had to call multiple times to complain about our card keys not letting us in from the outside doors and into our room. We had to change rooms the first night arrived because the first one reeked of smoke despite the fact it’s considered a smoke-free zone. We had so many complaints and it would take awhile for things to be resolved. We did not appreciate the fact that we paid so much for little service. This was not worth the $500+ at tf all. I will not be coming here nor will I ever recommend Best Western to anyone. Stay away. Just look the other way.
