When we arrived, we were somewhat surprised at the condition of the hotel, being a part of the Ritz Carlton chain. The hotel was rundown, floors were not swept or clean. Our hotel room smelt like dog urine. Will not go back.

Nice, though older, well-kept property. Rooms need a microwave and a nice bfast. Dislike people being allowed to smoke right outside their room, which is also, right outside their neighbor's room, too. Almost always had to pass through smoking entering or leaving room. Consequently, Will not stay there again.

The resort grounds are massive and gorgeous, making you feel entirely removed from the stress of everyday life. The massive pool deck overlooking the ocean is magnificent, and the poolside service makes it incredibly easy to lose track of time. The staff was phenomenal always smiling and eager to help. Between the excellent dining choices right on the property (like the steakhouse and fresh seafood spots) and the charming local eateries nearby, every meal was a hit. A flawless vacation experience.
