Unfortunately, my stay at the Marriott Downtown Jacksonville was a little disappointing. Multiple elevators smelled strongly like urine. I reported it to the front desk, and while I was told it would be taken care of, one of the same elevator still smelled later it seemed like they had just sprayed air freshener to mask the odor rather than actually cleaning it. The issues didn’t stop there. The air conditioning in my room wasn’t working properly, making the room uncomfortable, and the toilet wouldn’t flush consistently. For a Marriott, I expected much better maintenance and attention to cleanliness. Hopefully these issues are addressed for future guests.

We had such a wonderful stay! The apartment was absolutely beautiful—modern, spacious, spotless, and very comfortable. It truly felt like a home away from home. The amenities were incredible! There was so much to do within the community that we hardly needed to leave. Everything was well maintained, and it made our stay even more enjoyable. I also appreciated all the thoughtful touches inside the apartment, like the snacks, cups, and the washer and dryer, which made our stay so convenient. The check-in and check-out instructions were clear and easy to follow, making the entire process seamless. I would absolutely stay here again and highly recommend it to anyone looking for a comfortable, relaxing, and well-equipped place to stay!

It is overrated. The pool is way too small for all the guests that stay there. There are NO perks! You have to pay EXTRA for everything.

We had a wonderful time staying at Beachside Motel during our trip to Amelia Island. From the moment we checked in, the staff was incredibly friendly and welcoming, making us feel right at home. The rooms were spotless and well-maintained, which we really appreciated. One of the best parts of our stay was how quiet the property was — perfect for relaxing and getting a good night's sleep after a day of exploring. The location couldn't be better, with easy access to shops and restaurants, and it's just a short walk to the beach, which made our mornings so easy and enjoyable. We also loved spending time at the pool, which was clean and inviting — a great spot to unwind in the afternoons. Overall, this motel offers a great combination of comfort, convenience, and value. We'd definitely stay here again on our next visit to Amelia Island and would recommend it to anyone looking for a relaxing beach getaway!
