Comfortable, clean, and relaxing.

We were stuck in KC during the blizzard on January 4, 2025. We were unable to get a flight out 4 days and nights. Our room was very clean and looked like it was recently remodeled. The lobby area was spacious and inviting. The breakfast area was nice and clean. In that the hotel was full of families which were also unexpectedly stranded, the breakfast staff had a hard time keeping up with needs but, overall, it was good. We particularly liked the Starbucks coffee machine that was available all day and night. Regular brew was free. But you could make macchiatos or lattes for $5 a cup. The hotel shuttle was a great plus when it was time to go to the airport. Our only complaint was that our room was next to the housekeeping staff room and across from the hotel laundry room. In the mornings, when they started their day, it could get loud outside our door.

Nice hotel. Unexpected charges.

This hotel is very fresh feeling, clean and comfortable. The staff seemed accommodating and friendly when we checked in, telling us there was a secure parking lot behind the hotel. They didn’t tell us there was an additional charge for parking in that lot. During the night, my husband got an unavoidable stain on his pillow, which I washed out. When I explained what happened to the front desk, they said “most people wouldn’t tell us this happened, then they added the cost of the pillow and pillow cover to our bill; then I was shocked at what they charged us.
