La Quinta Hotels are usually my “go to” chain of hotels because they have a decent price for a good, comfortable room. This particular hotel was clean, well kept, the staff was friendly and helpful. We had an issue with the shower head having barely any water pressure and immediately we were changed to a new room and for the inconvenience, given a better suite. All in all, I highly recommended.

Unfortunately our room was extremely noisy, it felt like we were sleeping right next to a nuclear reactor, I got a total of 2 hour of sleep. We were in room 430, this amount of CONSTANT noise level should be disclosed to guests - some people can manage to sleep with that amount of noise, but not most.

Clean, bare bones stay

Newer facility and it was clean but the beds were horribly uncomfortable. The breakfast was "meh" and the whole place seemed to be crammed into a space that was just too small. Parking lot is ridiculously small and getting in/out of the lot is a bit difficult w/poor visibility of traffic.

We stayed here with a group of volleyball players and parents. We travel a lot and can be picky. The property was well taken care of and clean. The beds were super soft and comfy and everyone had a great nights rest. The showers had great pressure and water was hot. Breakfast was normal with several waffle makers, eggs, sausage, yogurt, bagels, muffins, cereal etc. The lobby was large and had tons of different types of tables and a cozy fireplace to sit around in the morning or evening with friends. Downstairs they have a little store area with drinks, a few quick grab meals, snacks, etc. The location was just minutes away from the Kansas City Convention Center but there really isn’t anything within walking distance and the areas get kind of shady quick. It is pretty industrial around this spot but there is a playground in a nice neighborhood behind the hotel and a block up for young children. For the price we would definitely stay here again.
