The property is interesting and well maintained. The service was poor, with unfriendly and unhelpful staff from front drivers to cafe. Rooms are overpriced and not serviced despite a three day stay. No coffee on the room. I won’t go back

Potential for a 5-star stay, substantially ruined by an extraordinarily rude valet (Kelly) who singled me out for a public scolding when I left my car double parked near front door for parking. As punishment, I was ordered to valet my own car while others watched, and this valet parked cars for white guests. Manager never called, as promised.

Parking was what I noticed first

Parking. Not very evident and a stresser. I also did find the lack of some traditional hotel amenities such as coffee/ tea in the room to be missed. Great hotel for an adult, but not kid friendly. I would stay again, if I was traveling by myself.

Stayed here several times for work, but the relaxed vibe makes non-work hours pretty enjoyable. Decent food options in the immediate area during evening, daytime options require a little travel. Top pick when staying in KC overall.

Loud women. Bad Martini.

There were loud women outside our window at 1 AM. We think they were staff members. When we complained at checkout the woman in charge was nice enough to remove the parking fee. The bartender at the rooftop bar does not know how to make a martini-worst ever.
