Beautiful historic property. If you like historical hotels this is nice one. Staff was, without exception very good. I gave 4 stars because of the age and wear, which is to be expected, but might bother travelers who prefer newer properties. Great blackout curtains. The hotel bar was good.

In town for a concert - great walking distance to the T Mobile Center - super cute little dive bar around the corner. Not super impressed with the bartender at the hotel - we sat there for over 30 minutes and she waited on everyone but us. hotel was clean and rest of staff was super friendly

The staff at this Ambassador Hotel was very engaging. They warmly greeted us each time we passed through the lobby and were very efficient checking in a large group of people ahead of us. Truly set the tone of the stay. We were glad to get a room with a view and there is true value in a nice bathroom in the room when out of town. A short walk to power and light district and other event centers. This room fulfilled the very things we were looking for on stay for our day trip to Kansas City.

It’s a really elegant hotel, but the location is full of homeless and mental illness, if I had to guess I would say a lot of crime happens close to this location. Just be prepared!

Room was clean and comfortable. Located within walking distance to venues in the Power and Light district. Car valet service was efficient. As with big cities, significant number of homeless in the area. Our television did not work. When the desk was told they said there was not maintenance staff to fix it. No attempt was made to compensate us in any way for the failure of that amenity.
