Jardim do Mar Vacation Packages

The hotel is centrally located in Funchal close to the mall, grocery store and the boardwalk. The kitchen is great with a full fridge to store snacks and water. The restaurant downstairs offer a fantastic lunch for great price of 12 euro. The included breakfast is awesome with a great al la carte section breads, cheese and fruit. All staff was great but Kaitalin was fabulous and created a beautiful driving tour for us along the coastline!

This resort is in an excellent location for tourists. Half way between the airport and the major city of Funchal. The views are stunning. The staff friendly and very pleasant. The food choices were vast and delicious. We signed up for the all inclusive and it was well worth it. Lots of great excursions, hikes, adventures, dining and shopping.

First-class experience all the way 😎

Lovely property, located very close to the port and everything you need. Also the view from the rooftop bar was excellent for sitting and enjoying a poncha🙂

A great hotel in a nice location. We enjoyed our stay. Very clean and tidy. The property had the feel of a grand plantation house. The only thing letting it down was the slight complexity over the amenities. Whilst it has its own pool, everything else you require, such as food, bars, larger pools, etc., needs to be accessed from the Pestana hotels next door, which can be accessed through a route within the grounds. We found the breakfast area well, but never found the bar or other areas, as it was slightly confusing. I think a quality onsite restaurant would be a real asset here, along with some evening entertainment. We went out to nearby restaurants every night, as we didn’t feel the hotel had much to offer in this regards. We had a few small issues with housekeeping, but once we raised the problems, they were quick to remedy them. The hotel is situated about 20-25 min walk from the main town of Funchal - so within a reasonable difference. For the price of this hotel, I think things like an airport transit service would be nice. Overall a nice establishment, with good and knowledgeable staff. Felt more like a bed and breakfast facility. There was no room service, to the best of our knowledge. The acid test is always, would you stay again - I would say “yes” but probably when the rooms were on sale price etc. I would certainly recommend the hotel. Clean, good quality, and nice staff. A little expensive for the amenities on offer but otherwise great.

Lovely hotel. Breakfast was excellent, rooms large and comfortable. Pools and spa services were excellent. Walking distance to a lovely mall, beach, and many great restaurants. Short bolt ride to downtown Funchal. Loved it.

Great location and views from pool side and balcony, comfy bed but breakfasts were a little disappointing. Outside gym more just for mobility than anything, apart from pull up bar. Sauna was out of use, didn’t use outside jacuzzi. Only in room to sleep, out and about throughout the 4 day stay
