I admired how clean the room was despite my miraculous early check in and Valentin was a nice gentleman.

I'm satisfied overall but parking

the court yards were really nice to be able to relax in away from the traffic, very peaceful. The breakfast buffet was amazing, lots of choices and great hours also.

It’s a Best Western. Bare basics, no AC, outdated interior, cramped room and bathroom

The location isn't the best; it's a bit far from the city center. The hotel itself is great clean with nice rooms though the parking situation is inconvenient, as you have to walk about two blocks to leave your car at a nearby arena's lot. The breakfast is excellent, offering a wide variety of choices. Overall, I’d say the hotel is worth it, and I would stay there again.

Staying at Hotel Royal felt like a privilege. The staff is very proud of their property and they let you know immediately that you are staying in the oldest hotel in Gothenburg, one that has refused to join any commercial chain. It feels like being part of history. The hotel is well maintained and it’s beautiful. Details are very well taken care of even the keychain is very special. You’ll see. The staff is super friendly and helpful. Breakfast was really good and the room was nice. Location couldn’t be better. Very close to Central Station and shopping areas and restaurants. Overall it was a great experience. If I ever go back to Gothenburg, I hope I can stay there once again.
