Amazing staff and beautiful lobby. However the rooms are tiny. My 6’ son had to bend over to get in the bathroom and the beds are up against the wall. No space at all to hang clothes.

An absolute gem in Kyoto! We had a perfect stay here. The apartment is beautifully curated with a modern traditional Japanese aesthetic. It was spotlessly clean and had everything we needed. The indoor garden in the shower area was a spectacular touch. The location is unbeatable—walking distance to Gion and Nishiki Market, surrounded by fantastic dining options, and close to public transport (metro and buses). Note: The stairs are a bit steep, so just watch your step. Excellent communication with the host and top-notch service. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Kyoto!

Wonderful accommodation. It worked well, with 2 bedrooms and a living area, all in the space of a large hotel room. Loved the bathroom with a deep soaking tub to relax in after a long day of sightseeing!

Excellent place to stay, would’ve been five stars except if you are a guest and not on the breakfast included plan with the hotel they don’t allow you into the restaurant area till after 10 AM, I just wanted to use the espresso cappuccino machine that was available to all guests. The tokens for the self serve bar for beer & wine is an excellent idea. Would stay with them again.

So close to dotonbori. Close to shopping and dining. Helpful staff and accessible to taxis

Hotel was nice and clean, and good location, but not great location. I would rather be a bit, maybe 1/2 a km to 1km closer to Dotonburi but it was quiet. I must say that I had difficulty booking on the Monday site but Expedia made it easy and so far all my Expedia reservations on this trip are flawless.
