The only thing I was appalled by was the amazon echo pointing at the bed. Seems a camera in the room pointing at the bed was a bit much i un plugged it and now will consider outer options being spied on in my room its to much for me

The bed was incredibly uncomfortable and lumpy. The pillows screwed up my neck. However, Kevin and Farrah at the front desk were incredibly helpful. We ate at the hotel restaurant and the food was good. Overall, the people working there were great! The beds and pillows were not to my liking but that was my only issue.

The vending machines were completely empty. On every floor. Rooms were clean and beds were comfy. Could use new or different pillows though. They get super flat. Making them get hot fast and obviously uncomfortable. The staff was great and was able to accommodate us checking in pretty late.

Clean rooms, good room service, amazing on site restaraunt and bar. In door pool is kinda small but clean

Communication was proactive and showed a genuine concern for our comfort during our stay. There was an error in double booking on the property’s end and they made extra accommodations for us and went out of their way to make sure we were taken care of. The owner is a very kind person and reached out on a few occasions to ensure we had everything we needed. The cabin was beautiful, well maintained, and clean, and had great amenities for cooking. We enjoyed the brand new grill outside and also used the fire pit and enjoyed the local hiking trail. It is close to Mammoth Cave and we really enjoyed spending half the day at the park then relaxing at the cabin for the rest of the day. Highly recommend!!! (Side note - we are now at our next cabin destination of our road trip and we are missing the comfort and amenities at Maple Retreat!)

Check in was difficult because there are two separate buildings and I was not given a room number or door code or instructions about which building I was supposed to be in. The hotel spammed my email with literally 18 messages most of which were redundant and others which had links that didn’t work. The actual room was fine and in a nice area. Unfortunately for me, my particular room was directly above a bar that played loud thumping music past 2:30 in the morning on a Monday. I asked the bar if they would turn it down but they didn’t care and acted like I was crazy for asking. I couldn’t sleep. They should never put guests in this room. Parking is included but you have to register with the adjacent lot which requires you pay a fee which will be refunded eventually. They didn’t refund my fee and actually charged me an additional fee which I didn’t authorize. It took a lot of time and patience to get them to refund both charges. This place ruined my stay in Louisville, and further troubled me after I got home. I think Expedia should take them off their listing. 0/10.
