We really enjoyed our stay at the Hilton Hawaiian Village. We stayed in a two bedroom ocean view room in the Lagoon tower. Our room was absolutely huge and the staff did an incredible job cleaning every day. It was well appointed with all of the amenities you would need for a nice, long stay. We did find it very quiet during the day but at night there was a really loud band playing every night until around 10 0mm. We checked it out (they were located in the tapa bar area) and every single night it was so loud (with doors and windows closed on the 16th floor) it sounded like they were right outside of our room. I’d you like to go to bed early or are a light sleeper this may be an issuer for you - luckily it wasn’t for us).
We loved the beach but didn’t frequent the pools because they seemed over crowded …. But who needs the pools when you have the Pacific Ocean right there? The staff at the resort were extremely friendly and helpful l. When we initially checked in we were given a room that faced the buildings in the street behind us. This was frustrating but I went right back down to speak with the manager. I advised him that I wasn’t happy with the room view as I had paid $1000 USD extra for the “ocean view” vs. the standard view and he promptly moved me to the correct room without any issues. Our only other minor challenge was that our room description said it came with a washer/dryer in the unit and it did not.
Overall I loved the property and would definetly wee again.
