"Excellent location "
We enjoyed our stay. They had a Limo as a courtesy vehicle and it took us down town by the wharf and pick us back later. The driver had been there for 18 years abd was very knowledgeable and directed us to the Parrot restaurant which was excellent The check in clerk was extremely helpful and notified us as soon as our room was ready We also saw the resident goats in the mini mansion!!

"A nice change of pace"
This is a very fun hotel with a distinctive NY Urban feel. The beds were AMAZING and the shower rain-soak style shower heads were perfection. My room had a great view of the river and was extremely quiet. A great place to work, socialize, or use as a base camp to explore the area.

"Spectacular Views and "
This is a really nice hotel with exceptional hospitality. The staff makes an effort to know every guest by name and try to make your stay special. The facilities and the views are magnificent. The atmosphere is one of equal parts history, luxury and class. It may cost a little more, but you leave feeling you got great value. My wife and I loved our stay and hope to come back again soon..

Welcomed and directed to free parking quickly upon arrival. Our 1 bedroom suite was wonderful and we could see Thames Street from our windows and look at the Bay from the end of the hall Lookout Point the hotel had set up (with chairs etc). They don’t say location location location for nothing! Perfect location to walk to shops, dining and sightsee. Beautiful historic exterior with updated amenities inside hotel. Def must. Especially with off season rates!

"Absolutely pleasant and welcoming! "
We are frequent comic con goers and we stayed at this hotel last year. They were even better this year! The hotels fresh young staff was very pleasant and they were able to help us and make great reccomendatikns for local shops. Everyone was great! Our room was exceptional and overall the stay was the best we’ve stayed at in a long time. My only complaint was in regards to the dinner at the restaurant attached to the hotel. The food was I’ve cooked and very bland and the loud Disney music was sickening and really didn’t match the vibe of the bar and restaurant. We both agreed we would not eat there again next year.

"Nice hotel, nice amenities, didn't get my room"
Nice pool/hot tub/spa/restaurant. Didn't get the room I paid for though. I paid for a room with a queen bed for 2 adults, got a room with 2 full beds, didn't get an explanation as to why, would have liked what I paid for. Also the front desk lady thought I was under the age of 17 (I'm 21 my partner is 22) even though she had my ID in her hands, then still had to ask someone else if it was okay to take my ID, which doesn't make sense seeing as I'm 21, a quick look at the d.o.b on my license will tell you that much. Then came off kind of condescending when asking if the hotel hold on my credit card was too much for me (maybe I was just annoyed at this point)

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
