Love the size of the rooms and the cleanliness of the hotel. Convenient to everything in Newport with easy free parking! Have stayed in many of the expensive hotels in Newport and we always go back to the Wyndam!

Good amenities

We were very comfortable here. The room and the bed were large, the shower was excellent, and the TV and Internet worked well in the room. We enjoyed dessert in the restaurant. The pool looked great (although we didn't try it out) and the fitness room was well stocked.

Everything was fine until the first time we used the water and it came out a yellowish color..even after letting it run a while. You can probably imagine why we didn’t want to shower, drink coffee, or brush our teeth there in the morning so we just left.

All in all, was a great stay. The only thing we did not care for was the fact that the bathroom door could not lock and was glass. In mixed company and with kids made it difficult to feel comfortable taking showers or using the toilet. Some of the furniture showed signs of wear, but beds were comfortable with quality sheets.
