This was my first time staying at MONday. I was really surprised by how much the staff provides to guests. There is complimentary tea/water dispensed. They also have a self-serve area to grab any items you might need for your stay: toothbrush/toothpaste, comb, hair tie, laundry detergent, and electrolyte salt tabs since it was peak summer. They also sell 50 yen water bottles so you don't have to go out and buy it at a store for an average of 170 yen, I would say the location is pretty convenient, especially for Tokyo. You're right next to the Yamanote and Keihan lines, but if you want to take the Ginza line then the station is only a 5 min walk. It's also located in the middle of a bunch of local restaurants and shops so a good place to explore. I didn't realize that Akihabara was only a 8 minute walk and Ueno was a 5 minute walk from this hotel. Don't let the train tracks deter you, I didn't hear the train once during my 7 night stay. The insulation of the sound is crazy good. The room and service was nice. If you stay more than 4 nights, they do room service every 3 days of your stay. The washer/dryer is a must and I will say this was the most convenient unit I have used in Japan where it actually dries my clothes. They collect trash everyday, as long as you leave it outside your door before noon. Staff is nice and attentive, they even brought our luggage in a our room for us before check-in as we got there a little early. I would HIGHLY recommend this hotel! 5/5

Very convenient place to stay, Asakusa line is two blocks away. Many Japanese Chain restaurants nearby. Sukiya, Yoshinoya, Ootoya and YAKITORI Torikizoku.

This was the second time we stayed here, even better than the first. The room was spacious and clean. Hotel is in a very good location. Will always come back to the lively

Not nearly my best stay in Japan, although it was my most expensive. Check in was fine. The whole water bottle situation was very weird. At my other stays, the room was provided with at least 2 bottles of water from check in. This hotel refused to provide water on check in and on days that were “full cleaning” on the room. If you were getting an “eco cleaning” which was towels and garbage replaced we were provided bottled water. On full cleaning day they refused. It was very odd to have a system like that. The beds were rock hard! We had trouble sleeping all nights. AC had to be set under 22 degrees for the room to be nicely chilled. Breakfast was served until 10am but after 9am there was barely anything left and was not replenished. This was a bad look on the hotel. Only positive was the location which was close to many train lines and close to Ameyoko market where there was plenty of food any shopping options. Unfortunately, we won’t be visiting this hotel or any of their properties.
