The gentleman at the front desk was courteous and helpful. The place is an extended stay/long term rental with plenty of interesting folks hanging around. It smelled like cigarette smoke. The heavy curtains on my ground floor room WOULD NOT CLOSE by design, with only a sheer curtain. Luckily I had something I could clip them together with to have privacy. If you have other options, I recommend pursuing them.

Asked the check in clerk where I could purchase a bottle opener. Said He didn't know try gas station He said. After purchasing went back to room. Low and behold there was one mounted to the wall in the bathroom. Lol Nothing like hard wood chairs and a tiny table for relaxing and eating dinner. Found a few beard trimmings on sink. Refrigerator was very noisy.

I was a solo traveller. Good room for one person or a couple. It was clean, had an odd smell but after a while I just got used to it. Overall good.

Super quiet. Private place you would never know was there. Great place to unwind.

The room smelled bad, the bathroom light was very dim, and everything felt a little grimy. The breakfast was disappointing with store bought donuts and limited choices. Will not be returning.

I visited Rigby Idaho and stayed at this Motel 6 a year ago; it was well-maintained and I was impressed at its cleanliness, considering it IS a Motel 6. Today, on a return visit to Rigby, I was provided a room that smelled like a porta potty. The towels were stained and soiled with green funk and mystery stains. It took 20 minutes for the sink to drain after a simple hand washing. The toilet was filthy and looked like it had not been cleaned in months. One of the beds had a pubic hair on the pillowcase, & stains on the fitted sheet. There was dirt and debris along the baseboards and under the beds. Because I had pre-paid and lacked the funds to get a more desirable room in Idaho Falls where things are done right, I asked Robbie the desk clerk if I could be moved to a room that had actually been cleaned. I was offered my choice of two other rooms; however each just as disgusting as the first: stained and soiled towels, dirty shower floors, dried urine on the base of the toilets, and dirt under the beds and along the baseboards. I chose the least disgusting room and asked for cleaning supplies. I was provided with a broom and dustpan, a Clorox-based toilet cleaner, a toilet brush, and Clorox wipes. It took an hour, but I did the best I could with the supplies I was offered. Eventually, I went to Idaho Falls, picked up some more cleaning supplies, my own set of bath towels and a set of sheets; then I made the best of my stay in Rigby at Motel 6.
