Shangri-La The Marina, Cairns
Stayed at the Horizon suite club room. Got a great view of the marina. Breakfast and Dinner snacks were great in the Club room... staff were friendly too. Hotel is a bit dated, and the bed was a bit soft for us. Missing a Spa/Sauna. But still a 5 star stay for us.

Reef View Hotel
Breakfast was mediocre considering the price adder. Had to find utensils and napkins and lucky to have a salt and pepper shaker. Food presentation was sloppy.

Our overall staying were great - if anything it should be looked at is the smell of cigarettes on some areas and locations. Otherwise, the two asian receptionists were very helpful.

We booked a room with a water view for one night and was very happy. Friendly staff upon check in, very helpful and lovely. The room was exceptionally clean, the bed was comfortable and the view was awesome! Really wished we could have stayed longer. Highly recommend!
