"Good hotel with some nice perks"
The hotel is nice and has some good perks. The check-in lady was all business, no small talk, no smiles, just the facts. The room was small, but adequate. One thing I didn't like was the pedestal sink. There was no place to put your toiletries. The shower was adequate. This seems like a old hotel that has been renovated and updated. The perks are the bottle of champagne in the room at check-in, the refrigerator, wine and cheese at 4:30 - 6:30, milk and cookies 6:30-8:30 and an ok breakfast. Breakfast was bagels and cream cheese, pastries, cereal, juice, coffee, hot chocolate. We met some nice people at wine and cheese. The proximity to the harbor area and pier are another plus. Overall, I'd stay here again and would recommend it.

"Terrific Last Minute Find"
We road tripped up through PCH and found ourselves in the lovely city of Santa Barbara. We wanted to stay overnight but hotels were SO much. This had us thinking that we would just drive back down to Huntington Beach until we came across Pacifica. With a handful of Expedia Points, a multiplier and last minute luck, we got into the hotel for the price of a Best Western motel. What a wonderful find and gorgeous secluded room in the back of the property, the staff was so amazing and even sent a bottle of wine up to the room for us. Only a few minutes to the hustle and bustle of of State Street and downtown Santa Barbara. Will definitely be back again.

"Beautiful room in a perfect location"
We only spent one day and one night in Santa Barbara, but so glad we chose this hotel. The rooms were beautiful, fresh and spatious. The inn is split into three different buildings, but it adds to the Spanish-style charm you find walking around Santa Barbara's pedestrian friendly streets and courtyards. The rooftop pool and hot tub is a must-see for the views. The hotel is very convenient to the funk zone where all of the wineries are located

"Fall in Santa Barbara at this hotel is Heaven"
The hotel is located in a upper middle class neighborhood with beautiful houses and lush gardens. You can walk to the Mission, walk to downtown, take the city shuttle to the wharf and harbor, or drive along the coast. There is plenty of food for guests all that long but no public restaurant (which in my opinion kills the atmosphere of historical hotels because of the crowds) Overall, the best hotel we have been to in the same price range and style.

"Nice hotel, centrally located"
The hotel was lovely. the rooms are a bit smaller but very nice and modern. I loved the d├ęcor. Being that it's Santa Barbara, you won't be in the room much. my only complaint is that there were people smoking cigarettes out at the pool late night and the smoke was coming up into our room.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
