Glencarse Vacation Packages

Great location, but run down rooms and amenities. From the outside and immediate entrance, the hotel looked ideal with its great location (near to airport, close to city centre, literally next to the zoo). However, in our experience, the room was tired and looked rundown albeit had a great view! The pool was a lovely touch, but with swim lessons taking up half the pool and the hot tub not working, it left for a crowded space. For being close to the zoo and advertising “green” options, it was surprising to see generative AI signs and posters about which seemingly contradicts the message. While we ultimately would likely stay again due to location, the rooms definitely need some love especially for the price. The hotel breakfast was worth the £12.50 and they had a wide selection of your usual hotel breakfast items along with a few Scottish items.

We enjoyed our stay because of the quietness and the spacious room and the view of deans village

Good location, but the hotel has seen better days & is in somewhat rough condition.

This was our least favorite stay during our 3 weeks in the UK. No common space, no amenities, no lights at the front door if you are out after dark. Our room looked out over a litter strewn lot. The bathroom had no shelves so toiletries were on the shower floor and toilet paper was on the bathroom floor. We thought the location was convenient to many cafes and restaurants. It’s close to the tram for easy airport access.

Staff were great. The room was larger than expected and had everything we needed. There are laundry machines on site which was an excellent amenity. Location was fantastic. Had a great stay!
