This is definitely a 3 star hotel in need of refreshing. We had 1 bedroom suite with 2 queen beds and it was nice enough and spacious for our football weekend, which inadvertently was during U of M family weekend. It was also the game against the defending National Champions, the Indiana Hoosiers. As a result l, it was unusually very expensive to stay anywhere in AA the weekend we went. My husband and I are U of M alum and we’ve stayed at many different AA hotels. I chose the Staybridge because it was the only hotel left that was refundable when I booked it 6 months early. It’s located a little further than Briarwood Mall but still close enough for the football shuttle to be quick and cheap. The shuttle is $8 per person and the wait and ride was really short.

Close to the athletic facilities and easy walk into campus.

The hotel is quite nice and rooms were big. We enjoyed the sweet treats in the lobby of Apple cider and donuts. The Dyson hairdryer was a nice bonus! We were there for a Michigan Football game. It was about a 25 min drive to the stadium.

2 night stay for the IU-Michigan game. Excellent experience.
