Staff was super nice, very accommodating! Breakfast was great had lots of variety and was good! Right across from the beach and the pool area has a nice bar. We really enjoyed our stay!

My toddler and I got away for the week and the pool was very pretty, but seemed more like a place where people stay to get sloppy and party. Cigarette butts around the pool and people smoking while in the pool.

Get a real Venice Beach vibe here but in Texas. Sun Rise instead of sun set. LOL The Manager of Nicks Cafe is one of the best manager I have ever met, She under stands the true meaning of customer service. Oh by the way you have to try the burger you love it.

There is nothing quite as wonderful as stepping out of your hotel room and seeing the Gulf of Mexico right across the street. Even the rooms in the back of the property are a one minute walk to the beach. The hotel is old but well taken care of and decorated with a relaxed "beachy" vibe. It is not an elegant hotel which means the room rates are very reasonable, and the attached Gaido's restaurant is one of the best in Texas. A great place for a Galveston get away or an inexpensive option for a stay at UT Medical Branch.

Cute little hotel with all the beachy feels. Little outdated but the decorations, close to beach, bar, and pool made up for that. Even has a cute upstairs overviewing area for beach. Id stay again . You cant eat breakfast where its served but its a great choice of food to take back to your room

The property was nothing like the pictures posted on expedia. The room was nothing like the pictures posted on expefia either. I actually would like ask for a refund. I would never stay there if I know the room was in such poor condition. It's a terrible case of false advertising or bate and switch. Please issue a refund ASAP.

Deck chairs outside every room were nice to watch the ocean. We weren’t too keen on all the wet clothes and towels hanging all over the railings to dry. Ice machine area looked like something from a horror movie, made you wonder if the ice was safe to consume. Smoke detector dangling from a wire in the room. All that aside it was a good stay

Nice pool & location

Great location, walking distance to the pier. Beach access across the street, two minute walk. Motel is run down and old. Furniture is nice but that’s about it. Towels were poor and thin. Pool is big and has a great view of the beach including a Jacuzzi. Has a nice outdoor bar and restaurant. Food at the restaurant was delicious. They have live music Friday evenings during the summer. Bed was not comfortable. They only provide a thin sheet as your comforter. Expensive for the quality of the motel, but you can’t beat the location or the pool compared to other hotels in the area. Free breakfast buffet was absolutely disgusting I would not consider that a breakfast. Plenty of parking available. Overall, I would stay here again only for the location, Pool and Bar. Booked a double queen with pool and ocean front view.

The one thing was the staff was very kind and helpful. The hotel is strongly in need of removing carpets and remodeling rooms. The weather stripping on the door was gone and allowed small insects to come inside. The outside sitting area in front of my window smelled so badly of cigarettes and smoking that I had to cover my nose with my towel as I walked by. Also a police officer was on site telling visitors that the pool was closed and to leave the area which seemed very suspicious. I use to enjoy coming here, but will now never return unless a lot of changes are made.

Restroom are dirty no exhaust fan. Bath tab faucet are tight leaks every time. No good break fast. Don’t match online price. Room smell nasty. Worst In same price I can get in double tree. Same spot.
