Need to step up with breakfast choice. It was ok but need more choices and eggs looks lie it was warm up.

It was our first time visiting Portland, and the Evalina exceeded our expectations. The location is perfect, right on Commercial Street, with plenty of restaurants and shops nearby. The ferry and cruise ports are also just a 5–10 minute walk away, making it easy to visit the different islands. The suite was comfortable and thoughtfully equipped with everything we could need, including an umbrella for rainy days, coffee and a French press, tea, a washer and dryer, and so much more. Communication was excellent throughout our stay as well. We truly enjoyed our visit, and the next time we’re in Portland, the Evalina will be our first choice!

This hotel is amazing. The rooms, beds, and all the details are so incredible. I wish I could have stayed longer. Check in was a breeze as well. You can tell they take a lot of care and thought into the property. I will definitely be back

The rooms were clean and spacious. The location was very convenient to the Old port. Parking was right across the street. The only drawback was a mechanical noise that we believe originated from the building next door. This noise made it sometimes difficult to sleep. Having a kitchen and laundry were helpful.

A lovely historic hotel in the part of town with great restaurants and tourist attractions. Only valet parking is available, and to tip the valet you need to know their name as it is on line via a QR code! Beware technological luddites. As far as the hotel is concerned, we paid (modestly) extra for a "garden view" room. Both the first room they showed us and the one we stayed in, had one small window, oriented 45 degrees to the wall that looked out the window. So, yes, technically it was garden view if you walk up all the way to the window and look askance at the garden, but not sure I would advertise those rooms as garden view. just saying....

The bed was very comfortable and had lots of pillows which I love. I also loved how they offered free bottles of water, which were great after walking around the town. All the staff was very friendly and helpful. It was even nice to have a ride to and from the airport with no worries. Great place to stay. Will definitely stay there again.
