Room was clean and staff were friendly, disappointed that there was no food available from 7pm in the restaurant and bar on the first evening also there were cars parked in ev charging but not charging their cars so we had to find another charger away from the hotel

Couldn't get to the hotel due to a storm, and they had absolutely zero flexibility. Probably a 'fine' hotel if nothing goes wrong, but if it does then they don't want to hear it, and have no inclination to help. I'd avoid - better options elsewhere.

Room was a brilliant size and clean go 3 of us. Probably best shower I have had in a hotel. We all had a brilliant nights sleep. We had dinner, bed and breakfast. Dinner was really good but it just needs more atmosphere in the dining room. Breakfast was really fresh but would say they need to do more continental bits (granola), fresh fruit etc, Staff brilliant. Spa was busy but again clean and had everything we needed.

The room was lovely, spacious and clean and with a great view. Lovely bathroom with great products to use, which I was excited to do so. However, when in the shower, I discovered the bottles were completely empty, I know they’re an added extra but still a bit irksome to discover them empty only when I’m under the shower. The staff were very polite and friendly, especially the lovely little lady on breakfast, nothing was too much trouble. The food was delicious, it did take over an hour for our starter to arrive at dinner, which again, wasn’t the best, however we were in a lovely setting and it was exceptional food, worth the wait. Even with the little points raised, I would still definitely come back again

The room was clean but cold! Radiator was not big enough for room! We also purchased tickets for the New Years evening silent disco and buffet. It started at 7.30pm we arrived at 8.15pm and there was only a few bits left on the buffet ( hardly anything! I booked the hotel in November hoping to book the spa nearer I time of stay! Had a lovely stay at Woodbury for 2 nights between Christmas and new year. Room was a good size, breakfast was really delicious! Even went for a lovely walk near Woodbury castle on one of the days.

Spa facilities excellent. We booked the Swiss style chalet but it was tired and dated. There was no outside light, entrance light or stair light. We asked for it to be fixed but nobody from maintenance was available that night or following morning. Not ideal coming back at night with my 80yr old mother. Restaurant wasn't busy but it took 20mins for anyone to address us after we were seated. We also had to pay for our food in advance otherwise the kitchen wouldn't accept our order. Overall it is not a 4 star property.
