I rated this stay one star because myself and my teenage son were stuck in one of the two elevators for about 10 minutes. I called the hotel directly from inside the elevator and the operator/ front desk clerk proceeded to ask for my cell phone number, and that they will call me back. I did not think that was a comforting answer. Eventually the service door opened and we exited. No apologies from the hotel staff. Needless to say, we did not use the elevator for the rest of our stay. For hotel amenities, only one functional Ice Machine in the hotel. Will not stay here again.

We stay at the Hilton in Glastonbury every time we visit Connecticut to see family, and it has become our home away from home. We know we can always count on a cozy, comfortable room and a peaceful night's sleep. During our most recent stay, I experienced some unexpected health issues and needed a little extra assistance. A young man at the front desk named Nick went above and beyond to help me. He was incredibly kind, compassionate, and genuinely caring. He certainly didn't have to do what he did, but his willingness to help made a difficult situation much easier. His kindness had nothing to do with the hotel itself, but it made a tremendous difference in my overall experience, and I truly appreciate everything he did. One thing we consistently love about this hotel is how quiet it is. Even with weddings, reunions, and other events taking place, we've never been disturbed. It's always a relaxing place to stay. We've also noticed that many families stay here, and it's wonderful to see children enjoying themselves, which makes it feel like a welcoming, family-friendly environment. We look forward to staying here every time we're in the area and highly recommend it to anyone visiting Glastonbury.

Breakfast was good. I was getting ready one morning and my leg was getting dripped on. (It was hanging off of the bed.) The ceiling was leaking and it looked as if this was an on-going problem because of the stain on the ceiling. I went to the desk and the man, who I believe was the owner, said, "Oh, you're in room 119?" Now how did he know that unless there was a problem in the past??? At first I thought this was a good motel but after that, I won't be going back.

Beautiful hotel inside and out. Great walkable location.
