Breakfast was good. I was getting ready one morning and my leg was getting dripped on. (It was hanging off of the bed.) The ceiling was leaking and it looked as if this was an on-going problem because of the stain on the ceiling. I went to the desk and the man, who I believe was the owner, said, "Oh, you're in room 119?" Now how did he know that unless there was a problem in the past??? At first I thought this was a good motel but after that, I won't be going back.

Was told we could not pre-register and check in time is 4pm.

The hotel exuded New England charm in the reception, halls, and rooms. The dining and bar were excellent. I will return in the future.

The room had a bad smell when you opened up the door; the AC wasnt on and only one half of the fans worked on it. I moved the desk chair to allow the AC fan flow, only to discover the torn up back of the desk chair. Room was well stocked with towels and supplies. Breakfast was a disappointment as the “breakfast-to-go” (supposed to be available an hour prior to breakfast time) was non-existant…we were told to help ourselves to whatever was available, which was very limited (zero pastries or muffin, but bananas, apples and coffee were available). No one was at the front desk to check us out, so the lady getting the breakfast ready had to do it…no receipt for our stay was given. Although they had lots of hot water (for a bath), l wouldn’t stay there again.
