No towels in room, kettle had “yellow residue” tide mark … had to get towels from cleaners trolley on first morning… also had get my own toilet roll… went out and bought a kettle from Tesco as I was there for 6 nights and the dodgy kettle wasn’t replaced despite asking at reception

Bailiffgate Hotel
Very pleasant room with a comfortable bed. Lovely courtyard. Nice public areas. The price of breakfast is outrageous if not booked with your room. Ate there for dinner one evening - nice food, but the menu was too limited to want to eat there for two nights in a row.

The Tempus at Charlton Hall Estate
Parking good. Staff excellent team both at hotel and wedding venue at Doxford Barnes. Hot tub not open. Too cold Excellent place to stay. Breakfast excellent. Evening meal we had excellent. Service good. Only down side. Checkout 10am. Most hotels check out 11. Felt rushed this morning

Hotel has definitely seen better days. Curtains hanging off the rail, dirty carpets, dirty room. Actually went to loo in the night and stood in a disposable lighter. Room had obviously not been. Cleaned properly. Will not recommend hotel
