"Nice hotel, very family friendly "
Great hotel, spacious room, nice pool and the lobby was awesome! We went down to the lobby in the evening and there were people playing pool and foosball. They also had a bunch of board games out for families/friends to play. We played candy land. There was a bar too. Very laid back and comfortable.

"Whiteface Lodge "
This is an amazing place and is close to amenities that make life more comfortable. Rooms are outfitted with stove, oven, microwave, fridge and washer/dryer combo. Just like home. Could not be happier with staff- amazing people. We were recommended to go here by a friend who goes often and we cannot thank him enough. The extra cost per night to what is gained at the lodge is worth more than the dollar value when compared to some of the same experiences on the town.

"Affordable and great location"
I really wanted to love this hotel. Very 1920s looking from the outside with awesome-looking lobby. Staff is top notch. However once I got to the room, I found hair (not mine) and spider webs everywhere. In my bed, on my pillow, on the shower curtain, on the floor. Everything else was pretty clean otherwise. I liked the window A/C unit to help drown out noise. My visit was during low season so hotel was pretty quiet but floor would shake every time someone walked by.

The Haus is an incredible gem in the heart of the Lake Placid Village. We loved having our own mini apartment, with the combination of hotel staff. Unit 3 is beautifully appointed with an incredible view!

A beautiful work in progress! While they are still renovating this quaint motel, most of it is decorated in comfortable Adirondack style! Very clean and all the comforts of a high end motel for a small town price. The managers Keith and Amy are very friendly and made our stay very enjoyable!

"Awesome ending!"
We were in town because we had just completed a 200 mile relay race from Saratoga Springs to Lake Placid. When we arrived at the hotel, we had been up for just over 32 hours. Finding the hot tub to soak our tired and sore muscles was such a treat! We were also greeted with two goody bags, as I have a members reward card, and that was a nice surprise. The Adirondack chairs on the balcony were a beautiful, peaceful place to gather, enjoy the scenery and a glass of wine. We were within walking distance of everything too!

Spruce Lodge Bed & Breakfast & Guest Cottage

6034 Sentinel Road, Lake Placid - Map
"Quaint, great location, good price"
The cottage was great for the six of us. The kitchen and living room were spacious enough giving us the opportunity to make our own meals and relax in a home environment. The upstairs was slanted and felt a little odd when walking. The top bunk was much too close to the ceiling, so much so, that we moved the mattress to the floor. The upstairs stayed too warm. Additionally, we had to be creative with only one bathroom in the cottage located only on the 2nd floor. However, everything was clean and working, and the strengths outweighed any drawbacks. Overall a great place to stay which we would rent again.

Elizabethtown is calling — find the perfect hotel

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Elizabethtown, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Elizabethtown hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
