Hotel was very nice and the room was spacious, clean, modern, and comfortable. The only negative was the coffee for the room was the worst I’ve ever had. Other than that staff and facilities were exceptional.

Beautiful hotel

Wonderful hotel, beautiful for our weekend getaway to lake placid, very clean. Our only complaint was we were in a room I think next to like a maintenance room or something and there was a very loud annoying noise constantly during our stay. It woke us up multiple times. Overall, we’d stay again and just request a different room

Absolutely wonderful location and staff! The rooms are spacious and cozy and the hotel is in great proximity to Lake Placid’s adorable downtown. Charlie at the front desk is so kind and helpful, especially when it comes to hiking trail recommendations!

Clean with nice views

The hotel itself seems either new or newly renovated. It was very clean and the staff responded quickly to requests for things to be brought to the room. There were some views of the lake and mountains from their restaurant on site with indoor and outdoor seating. The firepits down by the lake were very cozy. We were pleasantly surprised when we ate dinner at the hotel restaurant.

We were extremely pleased with the helpful, hospitable, professional staff we encountered on all levels. Our room was lovely, very clean and comfortable. We enjoyed sitting down by the water. It was beautiful and peaceful. We had breakfast in the hotel both mornings. They were satisfying. We highly recommend the Cambria!

Lake activities were complimentary. Breakfast not included in price and not that cheap. Whilst the property is lovely there wasnt much atmosphere which was a real shame.
