Our room was a converted holding cell with bars still on the window. The location of the hotel is excellent, however due to construction going on outside the hotel the area is dirty. The staff is excellent and the rooms are clean. I did find a long black hair in my shower… I’m blonde.

We stayed on the 7th floor and had a stunning view of the castle. The front desk staff were all very helpful. The room was very clean. It was well located for all of our walking needs with bus stations nearby when we wanted to be out of the cold

Check in was quick and easy, luggage storage on site too. My room was clean and comfortable, good shower and the room was quiet. Great location to explore Edinburgh. Easy to get the bus to and fro the airport too. Would stay again
