"Magnificent Hotel"
This magnificent hotel has retained the glory of a byegone age with its lofty ceilings, chandeliers, gleaming brass and polished mahogany. My single room, more modern and plainer, was immaculate as was the ensuite. True, the upstairs corridors were more modest but I did enjoy the grandeur of the entrance and reception rooms. The upkeep must be huge. Any problems, such as the TV failing to work and the request for a softer pillow, were dealt with faster than I have ever experienced in other hotels. In particular, I must compliment the outstanding warmth, help and, courtesy of the highly professional staff. I usually prefer guest houses because of the personal attention you receive, but I wouldn't hesitate to stay at The Crown on my next visit to Harrogate. It was wonderful!

"Great Hotel next to Station"
We booked this hotel as was going on a train trip the following day and so it was more than convenient as literally a 30 sec walk to the station platform. The Hotel is very grand, Parking available and we were met by a concierge who was willing to help with luggage. At check in we were told that they had upgraded room. It was a double room, very small but adequate for our needs. The bathroom was very large in comparison, with a great walk in shower and luxury fittings. However, the spanner in the works was this hotel has absolutely no air-con in the rooms, the windows only open 6 inches and although there is a fan provided, we had to ask for another fan. We understand that as it is a listed building Air-con cannot be installed. If you like a warm room to sleep in, then bingo ! The breakfast was great, with excellent service from all staff. The bar was great, very efficient and friendly bar staff who managed to get the kitchen to stay open to prepare very late sandwich for us. Staff at both check in and out were very good. Overall a very nice stay and we would happily stay there again.

"Beautiful, country hotel/wedding venue."
There was a wedding going on while we were there, but everything was very quiet in our room still. It's a beautiful hotel and rooms in a beautiful country location. Loved it!

"shame about the food"
Quite impressive from outside and first impressions of room are good. Staff are very helpful and friendly. But they have chef problems. Dinner is priced and quality is poor. Rotting pieces of salad and unimaginative, poorly executed dishes. Restaurant pretty much empty in evening and at breakfast. Stayed 3nights but cancelled breakfast on day 2 and 3 because poor quality and overpriced. Premier inn just down the road is a better bet! Room very comfortable but not spotless and stains on seating. Regret I have to post a poor review but it reflects honestly what I found.

Everyone wants to score a deal on travel, but price is just one factor to consider when booking an unforgettable hotel. Whether you’re visiting family, attending a conference or taking a well-earned vacation in Easingwold, having an awesome experience should be a no-brainer.

Hotwire will hook you up! From restful nights near your flight to that prime spot in the city’s heart, we’ve done our research to bring the best options to your fingertips. Book your Easingwold hotel with us now and start your next adventure.

You’re not the average traveler — and we know it

You’ve done your homework and know exactly where you want to go. We’re here to help with some Hotwire travel geek-approved tips on how to save on your booking.

    Get away for the weekend

Hotels in bigger cities usually charge higher rates during the week, when people are traveling for business. Weekends can be a bargain! It’s the other way around for vacation spots, so if you’re looking for a beach escape, consider a mid-week trip.

    Give yourself some wiggle room

If your plans are flexible, play around with some different travel dates – a shift of a few days either way can help you save big. Prices usually jump the weekends before and after popular holidays, so we recommend steering clear of them. Or consider visiting during the off-season, when prices are generally lower.

    Plan around big events

Are prices surprisingly high? There might be a huge conference or festival in town. Consider shifting your dates if you can. Of course, if that’s why you’re going, you’ll have to bite the bullet. We’ll still work to get you the best rates out there.

    Noodle over new adventures

Set aside time to plan what you want to see, taste and discover. Nothing completes a trip, big or small, like a few new experiences! Check city apps or area websites to find out what’s new and what events are happening during your stay. Even during a family reunion, you can detour to that locals-only fish taco stand or under-the-radar music club. Your cousins will be impressed.
