Fantastic hotel!! Recommend to stay at.

My family had a fantastic time at the Hampton by Hilton York hotel. Everything was amazing. Rooms are spacious and very clean and smell good. It is a new hotel. Service was fantastic. The hotel offers a very good breakfast that is included in the stay. The hotel is a block away from the old city. I would like to thank hotel staff for such amazing job that made our stay exceptional.

I couldn’t believe the bed was so low to the ground, very uncomfortable. My grandson was on the sofa bed and that was much more comfortable. Very disappointed for our first visit to a Hilton hotel.

Not bad but not good either

Hotel is good however the bed was quite uncomfortable. Breakfast time was manic, staff should put rope's up to let guests know where to queue for the self serve area as it was an unorganised free for all, people muscling in while we were trying to get food.

The hotel was good but next door to waste ground / Building site. Breakfast was very good. Good location to city centre. Room was OK but lacking drawers space. A couple of small issues 1. Using hand towels for a shower mat. 2. Did not replenish sugar for tea.

the only issue we had was with the heating in the rooms, very cold at night when we got back to the hotel. my mum was in the other room as is nearly 80 as she was extremly cold and did not sleep very well. the member of staff at reception did try to help by setting the heat from the office but with no success unfortunatly. that was the only downside of our stay
