The room was very clean. This property is in a good spot and the people are helpful, which is great. The listing said there was air conditioning in the unit. There was a portable air conditioner, which cooled the room it faced but pumped out heated air to the room it sat in, though there was a thermostat on the wall indicating the unit had air conditioning built in. That was a bit of a disappointment. Also, the shower doors didn’t seal, which left the floor constantly wet. It’s nice to be close to the city and have a full apartment.

Perfect in every way! Bed, room, location, breakfast...couldn't ask for better!

The Cotton House is an older property. My room was fine, though a bit small. The bathroom needed a bit of work. Very small sink and shower, with only a small shelf for toiletries. Toiletries supplied by the hotel consisted of a tiny bottle of shampoo and skin moisturizer. The soap dispenser over the sink was empty The bed was adequate- could use a new one, and there was only one small pillow and a small blanket that doubled as a bedspread. Breakfast was very good: eggs, sausage, rolls, nice coffee selection. Staff were friendly and helpful. I prefer newer properties with a few more amenities, so if you do, too, you might want to look elsewhere. But for a vintage experience, it’s a good place. And the location is great, near bars, restaurants, etc. Cool lamps in the room.

Room cleanliness acceptable , but could do with renovation in near future, staff very good, amenities also vey good Decent choice for breakfast, meals and wine prices on par with other European city breaks (expensive) Spa we only used one of the pools and the single jacuzzi is big enough for 6 only Would we return, possibly however be prepared for some walking or get the Budapest Go app and use the very good public transport system , we are both in our 60’s and managed fine
