Hotel is cute and well maintained for a collegiate hotel. Unfortunately, there was a stain of something on the blanket on the bed. In addition, I couldn’t get the water to run clear. Meaning my sink was full of brown water. Took pictures of both and showed the young lady at the front desk early in the morning. She offered me a few points on my Hilton account. Service recovery because I had booked through Expedia was POOR!

This was our first visit to the Edgewater, and we loved it! We booked a room with a Terrace and enjoyed that dedicated outdoor space for sipping our morning coffee and some quiet evenings. The spa, whirlpool, gym, and room service amenities were all exactly what you’d expect. If we return to Madison again for a “pamper ourselves” trip, we would definitely return to the Edgewater.

We were provided with a lovely room near the top of the hotel with a distant view of the lake. Nice! The hotel is one block from the capital and walking distance to UW Madison campus. Service is always good. The hot water could be hotter, but otherwise a nice hotel.

A very nice stay in Verona with my granddaughter. Carl and Vinnie were super kind. The restaurant/bar was a welcome after a long travel. Food was very good as was the Old Fashioned! The room was spacious and the bed comfortable.
