This place is a mix of good and bad, In general, the good significantly outweighs any bad we had. Bad: The place needs a decorating overhaul. Everything is a bit outdated and the walls have not be painted well. There were several instances of paint on handles etc and patchy painted area as well. For our room anyway, to have a shower was a little tricky as it's in a bath (jacuzzi actually) with no shower screen, so you had to hold the shower head and try not to get the water everywhere. The breakfast was only OK - have had better and also had worse. Although there were items to select, they were sparse and not overly warm. You have to pay £13.50 extra each for it. We had an evening meal there as well. It was rather expensive for what it was. Certainly for that price, we weren't expecting the likely use of frozen mixed veg. Good; The obvious good was the absolutely stunning view of the lake and mountains from the bedroom window. The room itself was huge (even though it was called a compact twin) and included 2 easy chairs from which you could sit and drink in the views. The beds were very comfortable and the heavy curtain made for a good black out, So got a good night. Overall, there are things that need to be improved but we were so happy with the room size and view that we simply didn't care too much about the rest. I think they rely on this. Note: you can also find a little stony beach just 50m from the hotel from which I took some great photos and of the sunset.

A very enjoyable & relaxing stay. Could have been more vegetarian dining options. Extra cost of £35 per dog per night is very steep!!

Wonderful stay and great breakfast!

Inverlochery was a treat stay for us, as my new husband is a huge fan of Roux family.

The best thing about this place is their staff. Mr Choba, the manager was extremely helpful from the very start and helped us to locate the property because the GPS directions were not helpful, and subsequently, during check in and after. Our room was facing the Loch ness so the view was serene. The staff serving us breakfast were superb and the ladies must be congratulated for their wonderful manners and professionalism. The breakfast was superb with even vegan croissant available for my wife, which we rarely see in bigger chain hotels. The only downside, which we did not realise when booking, was that the rooms, although nice and cosy, are really small and so is the double bed. The bathroom sink is very old fashioned with separate hot and cold water taps with no way to mix.
