very clean, well presented nice room, good hot shower, huge flat screen with various freeview channels, comfy bed and pillows which is a priority for me as I have to have a good nights kip or I growl too much the next day. downside - very petty but the floor boards creaked where ever you walked and it irritated me. Its not double glazed, well not the room I was in which was on the front. Wasnt a problem for me as I always take earplugs as have experienced noisy hotels, maybe I should have put them in earlier and the floor boards wouldn't have bothered me so much. The daft thing - no plug socket near the kettle so I had two options. The socket on the floor near the mirror or the socket under the desk. The latter being the logical choice but oh no as the lead wasn't long enough to put it on the desk. Ever the health and safety conscious individual that I have been trained to become. I put it under the desk equalling in no trip hazard.
There a loads of bars and restaurants along Osbourne Road but I can highly recommend Nino's on Holly Avenue West. Excellent food at a reasonable price with healthy options available.
