Wonderful experience at Crowne Plaza in Louisville! Parking was great. The lobby was beautiful and clean. The staff was friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and tidy. The lamp in the room was broken and needed to be replaced, not glued. I did inform the staff. I wish the restaurant was open earlier than it did. We were very hungry when we arrived and there wasn’t anything around but a McDonalds. Overall, wonderful hotel and experience. :)

The heat did not work in our first room and the staff was so nice about it and immediately moved us to a new room. Having said that I provided a good rating because I did not want it to reflect on the blatant racism of the bartender at the bar later that evening. My husband and I went to the bar for a drink around 9:30. The bartender addressed me and asked if I would like a drink, totally disregarding my husband who was standing right next to me. It wasn't until I looked at him did she ask him what he would like and made his drink and pushed it towards him. The bartender then made my drink and said, "here you go miss, have a great evening and enjoy," again, disregarding my husband. My husband then slid his drink back to her and asked that she address him the same way she addressed me at which point she did.

We would not stay here again. Our room was dirty (had to pick up multiple pieces of garbage including a piece of chewed gum off the floor). The room and hallway were not vacuumed either. We knew that we were next to the airport but the hotel was loud. No matter how cheap the room is, it is not worth it.

Very cold outside. I pulled into the front so my wife could roll the luggage inside and then I could find a parking spot. Shuttle driver then berated me for having my car by the front door so that my wife could exit the vehicle with our suitcase, instead of assisting her. He then instructed me to backup. Such a nice welcome on a cold Saturday afternoon when there were no others cars around.
