Indeed a 5 star hotel. We were upgraded to an executive suite (living room, bedroom, 2 bathrooms and balcony)! Hotel is located on seafront with all rooms having a balcony overlooking the sea. Great indoor pool and spa. Outdoor pool a bit too cold to swim in during March (low season). Only 1 out the 4 restaurants open in low season but good local restaurants (Pantarul 5 mins walk - number 1 on trip advisor) and a 10 min bus ride to centre (bus stop next to hotel). Hotel organised day trip to Montenegro. Would highly recommend hotel if visiting Dubrovnik.

From the moment we arrived, we knew that this was going to be an enjoyable stay. Very helpful and friendly reception staff checked us in and then showed us to our room on the 1st floor. As this hotel is built into a cliff you go down to your rooms.
Breakfast is a cold buffet style for meats, cheeses, fruits etc, however hot options are cooked freshly to order and a good selection is available.
Spotless rooms with wonderful views over the bay and we spent a very pleasant morning down by the beach, where we asked if it was possible to have some chairs as it was out of season. This was arranged by the staff within 30 minutes and the person who brought them for us apologised for the delay which was not at all necessary as they were going out of their way to help make our stay more enjoyable.
We couldn't fault this hotel and would definitely stay here again.

The hotel itself is very nice, the staff was great. The restaurant downstairs is very, very good (we shared multiple appetizers and ordered room service later in the week.) The location is a bit out of the way, but it's certainly walkable to the harbor/palace (otherwise the taxi drivers get very "creative" with their routes, to the tune of 80-90 kuna.) Any request we had was attended to almost immediately as well.

From the first moment I arrived to the last goodbye at the door, the hotel was everything I wanted in a weekend haven: well appointed, clean, peaceful, perfectly located, with some really helpful and friendly staff. I will come back.

Great hotel easy walk from ferry and to main historic and shopping area. We had a free upgrade to a suite which was awesome best room we have ever stayed in. Made the whole experience memorable thank you. Loved Split, it was a surprise we had only stayed a day to connect with a flight and were unaware of its beauty and history. Stay longer.

Spotless, well-appointed hotel, excellent experience and good value. Tiny room but clean and comfortable, no elevator to our fourth floor room. Half board, with many food choices, but all rather bland as the kitchen clearly values efficiency over quality. Huge crowds of bus tourists (300 at once) but handled well and by a friendly and helpful staff. The setting is wonderful -- overlooking the Adriatic, rooms have small balconies with sea views, or onto the spacious and well-kept grounds. Bus service to Porec, three kilometers away. Recommended!
