A beautiful, clean and spacious room, we had a dance in it! Loved the window shutters. It was tastefully decorated and the bed was very comfortable. The bathroom was also spacious with a huge sink and the shower was 3 way and very powerful. The location was perfect, on People's Square with everything close by. A great bakery steps from the hotel and the best ice cream shop on the opposite side of the square. The reception were really helpful. There is so much to do in Split that we will definitely return and stay in this beautiful historical building. Alina & Steve ❤️

The place is in an excellent area. The room was a nice size. There is not a shower door so hard to take a shower. This is more like an AB&B than a hotel.

I love this hotel and I try to stay there every time I go to split . The rooms are beautiful , spacious nicely decorated, with very nice toiletries . Location is the best, few steps away from everything

This property suffers from 2 major flaws. Firstly, its marketing & associated images suggests/infers that breakfast eating is on site. This is not the case, there is no dining facility & guests have to buy a voucher at extra charge and the walk to a nearby eating place which obviously has a business tie in with the hotel. Inconvenient if it’s raining! Secondly this ‘hotel’ is more like a hostel set up. The building comprises multi-occupancy hotelier businesses with only 1 lift which is accessed via a side door leading into a somewhat dingy common close corridor. The room was relatively spacious however the decor, which supposedly tried to recreate a distressed Victorian look was in truth more shabby than chic. The bathroom fittings in the basin & shower had limescale & verdigris all over. The shower tray was brown & stained at the sealant areas & a piece of the tray fascia fell off. The electric bedside sockets were worn to a point that charging phones etc required building a form of platform underneath the plugs do that they stayed in alignment with the socket. The ‘chandelier’ had a number of bulbs out. The ‘safe’ was in a wardrobe attached to a shelf which was removable!! The air conditioning unit packed in and the started leaking water onto the floor requiring towels to soak it up. This unit was eventually repaired by one helpful member of staff (Anita). For a supposed 4 stars, this ‘hotel’, ideally placed for walking in Split town centre, is overpriced

Great location, mediocre hotel

The property is a bit confusing by with 3 floors that all have different hotels, and no clear signage for the Central Heritage one on the 3rd floor. Hallways were quite noisy and not sure what was on the 4th floor but a lot of heavy walking, dropped dishes, and noise throughout the night. Pillows were basically a sheet, and the additional ones in the closet had no case. Not quite a 4 star hotel

The location was awesome but not if you’re driving. Parking was difficult to find and required a 10min walk with luggage. Overall our stay was lovely and rooms were very spacious.

The property is in a great location and close to everything but for the price we paid the room was not as clean. There were open soap bar open in the bathroom and it was kinda dirty and not fully cleaned. Further there is no phone in the room so anytime you need something you have to walk to the front desk to ask for it. Cleaning crew every morning maid sooo much noise while cleaning that i had to contact the property through expedia but still the next days we experience the same noisy situation. There was no hot water for 2 days. When I brought it up to the front desk girl she gave attitude and was not even apologetic. She was so clueless and said that she will ask the manager (who was not even responding to her) Imagine coming back from swimming in the ocean wanting to shower and to find out there is no hot water. After 2 hours they told us we should have hot water within the next hour. We didn't have hot water until next day in the evening.
