Was in El Paso to help siblings prepare for our mother's burial. Stayed 8 nights. Also arranged & paid for a room for 2 nights for cousins from CA and another room night for my adult daughter from Houston (3 separate reservations). All checking & checkouts were handled efficiently & courteously. Members of the staff were always present to assure our stay was without problems. Rooms were clean. The breakfast menus were surprisingly excellent. Their shuttle was proved convenient. Pictures of the rooms online were fairly accurate. I would have given the hotel all stars but one of their double beds had a mattress that was uneven.

Chose this hotel for these reasons: reasonable price, airport shuttle 24/7, free parking during travel. It is an older hotel; lobby undated, rooms okay. Young lady at front desk at check-up was very pleasant and professional.

Simply breathtaking views! And the service hotel manager Mario provided us non-Spanish speaking guest was extraordinary. His service was extended to all guests of course but make us feel just as important as anyone else. the rooms; need work. Tired, in need of some quick fixes but the housekeeping staff does a great job. Great place for hiking, accessing the cable car and the adventure park. Eat at the hotel restaurant or purchase food form the local open air market. No other choices in the area. We did walk to the next train stop where we found a restaurant in town for breakfast... a few more choices there and the walk's only about 3 miles.

We arrived very late past midnight. The place was very hard to find (apparently there are two hotels with very similar names with same owner). After we finally found it the only staff was the security who was unable to find out registration. We explained we made it only a few hours prior so he took our word for it and checked us in. In the morning he knocked on our door to make sure we didn't miss breakfast. Very nice gesture. The morning staff found our booking and everything was good. They have a great tour to the coooer canyon leaving at 9 am and other tours are available. All in all a great experience. We plan to go back.
