Descanso Vacation Packages

No food service other than a funky cafe with one young lady being worked to death. 2 coffees in the room for 2 people. They need to elevate their game.

Restaurant inside hotel was horrible don’t even try it

This is the second time I stay here and the first time was amazing but this second time the room they gave me had a weird pet odor, I asked to be changed to a different room and the guy did the change but his attitude made me feel like it was an inconvenience that I asked for the change. The new room had that same smell but I was too embarrassed to ask again due to his attitude so I just opened the window and left the room for a while and thank god the smell went away. The room itself was clean it was just the smell

It's a charming hotel with an amazing location but feels, smells and looks old. The location is the best feature and the staff was helpful. Parking is a bit of an issue but that would be true anywhere on Coronado. I would not hesitate to stay here if your adventurous and price conscious as the island is a premium destination. However, if you have the money and need a more modern feel check out other options.
